I took this at the Ephrata Cloister. The Cloister was a German religious community that would eventually found the town of Ephrata. This is a photo of the Saal (the building facing us), and where the people of the community would meet to worship. The building perpendicular is the Saron, and this was the women’s quarters.

I took this photo late in the evening and got great light and shadows, perfect for black and white. If you’re ever in the area, I recommend checking out this historical site.
