Sterling Raven

Argus by Jenn Dixon, 2009

Still playing around with Sterling2, trying out the Lyupanov functions in the above piece. It took a lot of tweaking, but I got something pretty cool, I think.

If you do want to play with Sterling2 at all, I recommend going through Tim’s Sterlingware Tutorial. It’s not going to be exactly like Sterling2, but it works just about right. You will come away with a lot of knowledge to get started.

In other (and unrelated) news, Aviary pushed out the beta version of their web-based vector editor, Raven. I played with it a little and it seems fun, but vector art is honestly something that completely escapes me. If you like vector art and can push around those little control points, give Raven a shot.
